This highly effective self trailing rope grab grips automatically in the event of a fall and dissipates the energy of the fall by slipping along the rope. This non-destructive action is highly preferred over force absorbing lanyards that tear or rip. Removable dual-action pin allows easy placement of the rope grab anywhere along the length of the rope.
For use with low-stretch kernmantle rope only.
When used within OSHA guidelines on approved ropes, the amount of slip and impact force remain well within OSHA requirements.
