Mobile cam-loaded rope clamp intended for moving on fixed ropes (as a back-up belay), for hauling heavy loads, and as a progress capture device in hauling systems. Can be used to make adjustable work positioning lanyards.

Slides easily up the rope and jams when the cam is loaded.
Slides easily downwards if the cam is prevented from engaging.
Removable spindle, so the rope clamp can be installed or removed anywhere on the rope. Locking pin gives greater safety: disconnection from the rope requires two separate actions. Locking pin and axle are attached to the body of the rope clamp to help prevent loss. For use on single rope from 9 to 13 mm (7/16" to 1/2") in diameter.
